Who We Are

MarkLaw.com is a resource on trademarks, provided complements of Ingena Law Professional Corporation, a solo firm based out of Minneapolis, and run by Heidi L. Pliam.   

Ms. Pliam is a 1997 honors graduate of William Mitchell College of Law, where she served as Co-President of the Student Intellectual Property Assocation.  After focusing her practice exclusively on trademark law in the early years of her practice, Ms. Pliam has since spent more time focusing on more entreprenurial activities.  Nonetheless, she welcomes opportunities to collaborate with other attorneys on their trademark litigation and registration practices.

Marklaw.com began as a project of the Pliam Law Group, PA starting in 1998.   Since then the site has been revamped with the help of many.  We thank the following lawyers, law students, paralegals and editors for contributing authorship to this site:
